A growing installed base difficult to manage
Before using WAPT, the IT team set up their computers by hand and had to manage the park manually on each workstation with GPO config basics scripts. Each request had to be managed individually according to business needs, right down to Windows updates. To prepare the workstations of new arrivals, it took between 3-4 hours to configure their workstations.
Version, support
This private company has been using WAPT for a few years. Starting with the Community version, they then upgraded to the Enterprise version, thanks to the features it offers, particularly for disk space control (down from 700 gig to 50), OUs and self-service. They found the solution affordable. Today, they’re working on the latest version 2.4 of WAPT.

Thanks to WAPT’s centralized console, the team optimizes their time by deploying to new workstations quickly and simply. They keep a watchful eye on the progress of their fleet, and adjust their process according to the needs of each department.

WAPT has mainly brought considerable time savings to the company’s IT department. From their console and remotely, they can now configure workstations in 30 minutes with 10 minutes for verification, whereas previously it took between 3 and 4 hours.
They can devote the time saved to improving their fleet, by creating business groups to facilitate deployment or even create their own business packages.

Their vision of the park is also clearer today. Thanks to the inventory part, they have a vision of the life of the workstation, and park maintenance is easy thanks to end-user autonomy. In fact, they no longer need admin rights to download their business packages.
