Applications Hydrauliques Leduc is a company operating in the metallurgical industry. It designs and manufactures made-to-measure hydraulic cylinders for local and European manufacturers in a wide range of sectors (agriculture, environment, marine, transport, etc.).<\/span><\/p>\n

SAH Leduc has 2 sites: in Les Touches and Lign\u00e9 (department 44), representing 130 workstations and around fifty customers in the workshops, managed by a single systems and network administrator. Tranquil IT has installed 4 Xen servers: 3 in Lign\u00e9 and 1 in Les Touches, as well as around forty VMs and a few backup servers. Also, more specific to the world of industry and mass distribution, SAH Leduc’s ERP is supported by 2 AS400s.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the time, the Active Directory in use was in Windows 2000 and provided no feedback on installations on workstations.       Versioning, support and training<\/h3>\n

      SAH Leduc experienced the beginnings of WAPT Community with its very first versions, particularly 0.8. As one of Tranquil IT’s first customers, the company was regularly able to participate in the software’s evolution as beta testers.<\/p>\n

      In 2018, SAH Leduc opted for the Enterprise version as soon as it was released, to benefit from the features available in this version.<\/p>\n

      SAH Leduc’s adminsys have had no WAPT training and make very little use of the documentation and forum. In an ongoing effort to save time, he generally takes advantage of his support tickets, which enable him to be in direct contact with Tranquil IT technicians.<\/p>\n
