Convention HIT – Paris
29 May 2018 - 31 May 2018
We will be present at the Paris Healthcare Week from 29 to 31 May for the HIT (Health-ITExpo) exhibition, the IT exhibition for the health sector. We will present WAPT and Samba Active Directory for the management of an IT asset in the health sector. As system and network administrators, we contribute to the management of the network of several hospitals in France. We participate in HIT to bring our products and methodologies to the issues of the health sector.
WAPT for computer workstation management
WAPT users include many hospital and health laboratory administrators. WAPT helps them manage all the machines in the hospital, including application updates. WAPT allows you to launch software updates and remote configurations at the best time, with 4 trigger choices:
- when the computer is switched on;
- to the extinction of the computer workstation;
- at the time chosen by the adminsys;
- on request, with a message sent to the machine and the possibility for the user to accept updates or not.
Updates are made quickly on the workstation for a quick return to service. Some updates do not require the computer to be shut down, so the user will be able to continue working during the computer update procedure.
Merging Active directory domains
Some hospitals are grouped into Territorial Hospital Groups (GHT) in order to share support functions and in particular the hospital information system. This approach allows the territories to benefit from an equal distribution of care services. In this context, computer networks are being grouped together, and the hospitals’ Active Directory domains must be merged. As Samba Active Directory experts, we have led numerous domain merger projects, particularly in the context of mergers of municipalities and regional directorates of ministries brought about by territorial reform in France. We have developed effective methodologies that will allow you to merge your Active Directory Samba or Microsoft domains without disturbing your users, who will not see any changes after our intervention on the network. Do not hesitate to come and see us on booth I78 at HIT from May 29 to 31, we will be happy to discuss your needs together!
